Genevieve Carter, the co-founder and principal designer of Carter Design, is a designer and artist who currently works primarily in oils and canvas.
She is ceaselessly inspired to capture the perpetual movements of her life in paint. Her paintings embody the light that falls on the landscapes and figures she sees. Whether it's semi-truck trailers reflecting the sun on western plains, cowboys driving cattle towards branding, friends walking an Atlantic beach, or a vase of wilting flowers, her work is a form of meditative storytelling that expands on the moment.
Visits to Texas and her husband Cy's family's cattle ranch have been a source of inspiration for many years.
